35 Years of Experience
Bringing together real estate opportunities and private money since 1984
A changing and often volatile economy requires a proven and experienced firm to handle clear first trust deed investments and common-sense real estate loans. Our lengthy and successful history allows us to offer solid, consistent performance, along with personalized service in the Oregon mortgage and investment market.
For the past 35 years, investors, borrowers and brokers have relied on AIC to provide the finest service available. We specialize in business-purpose loans on Oregon real estate. These types of loans are also referred to as first trust deed investments, hard money real estate loans, or private money real estate loans.
One Objective: Common-Sense Real Estate Loans and Investments
AIC was founded by Michael Welt and Marty Hall in 1984 with one simple objective in mind: to fund common-sense real estate loans. AIC was built on word-of-mouth advertising and honoring commitments.
Today, AIC operates as a small team of four individuals. With Marty Hall substantially retired, Mike now coordinates loan origination with Austin Walker, who joined the team in 2010. Amy LaGrander and Ciarra Christensen process payments, construction draws, payoff letters, reconveyances, and manage insurance. Though AIC is a small office, we are available to answer questions and guide clients through the process. We complete our own underwriting, site inspections, and document-drawing. This ensures the easiest and quickest process for our borrowers while retaining the highest level of commitment to our investors.
